a notification for the recruitment of Group ‘C’ category in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs. 1900/- (Vl CPC) and 07 (Seven) posts in erstwhile Group ‘D’ in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- (Vl CPC) vacancies against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 06-03-2017 by 18:00 hrs for Normal Areas & 21-03-2017 for Remote Areas. Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 29 years as on 01-01-2017 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1988 and not later than 01-01-1999 for S.No-01, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01-01-2017 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1985 and not later than 01-01-1999 for S.No-02 as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate or Matriculation Plus Course completed Act Apprenticeship/ lTl approved by NCVT/ SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from recognized institution for S.No-01, 10th or ITI or equivalent from recognized institution for S.No-02, with Scouts & Guides qualification.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test & assessment of talent in the relevant field..

Examination Fee: Candidates should have to pay of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Person with disabilities Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) only, from any Post office drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ HQ, South Western Railway, Hubli payable at Hubli.
